Key Features & Benefits:
- High Quality: Durable, absorbent fabric, made with safe materials for prolonged use. Our unique Graphene fabric pad is absorbent and had has antibacterial properties, making it safe for 4-5hrs use.
- Affordable: Our pad is Cost-effective and will serve women to several months, compared to disposable expensive options. We sell our reusable pad at sh. 100/piece. Translating to $1 / piece.
- Reusable & Sustainable: Sista+ pads are eco-friendly, reducing environmental waste and environmental impact. Washed, dried and reused for at least 6months.
- Comfortable & Discreet: Sista+ pads are designed for everyday wear, to women of all ages, from pre-menarch stage, post-delivery heavy flow, to old age incontinent stage.
- Locally Produced: Our pads are produced at our GIRL PAD CENTRE in Rural Busia-Kenya, impacting on our local economy by creating numerous jobs to our local people as data collectors, tailors, salespersons, riders, health promoters, security personal, administrators etc.

Immaculate Wesonga – Sista+ Director.
Immaculate is a passionate advocate for women’s health and community development. Her vision for Sista+ was born out of a desire to address the challenges faced by low-income women and girls in accessing affordable and sustainable menstrual hygiene products. Her leadership has been instrumental in driving Sista+’s mission forward, creating a positive impact on low-income women’s health and economic empowerment in Western Kenya. She is an experience Registered Nurse, previously served at Mater Hospital, Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi, Kenya and Autosterile East Africa as a clinical trainer. She uses her skills, knowledge and influence to empower the underserved youth and develop her rural community in Western Kenya through various initiatives.

Community Awareness: SISTA+ has impacted over 3000+ AGYW on menstrual hygiene awareness in western Kenya Communities.
Reduced Waste: Produced over 3000 eco-friendly, reusable pads in 2yrs, reducing carbon emissions from the disposable pads.
Women’s Well-being
- Improved Health: SISTA+ Initiative has Increased Access to safe and hygienic menstrual solutions to 3000+ AGYW reducing infections and discomfort among underserved AGYW.
- Increased Dignity & Confidence: SISTA+ Initiative has impacted 3000+ Girls and women can participate fully in school, social economic activities and daily life without interruption.
Economic Opportunity
- Youth Employment: Sista+ has created over 25 full time and 6 part-time local youth employment opportunities serving as 4 project assistants, 4 tailors, 3 salespersons and 5 reproductive health educators, 2 grounds men, 2 riders and 2 security personnel. All from the locality. This income opportunity has enhanced their economic status, families and livelihoods at large.
- Local Production: Sista+ initiative with local pads production has enabled over 1000 AGYW visit the Center monthly for pads supplies and replacement of worn-out towels. Overall, our community is embracing sustainable practice.
- Skills Development: Sista+ initiative with local pads production, has trained all the 4 general tailors, with a special niche in pads production. Trained our sales team on marketing strategies, trained our security personals, and we Conduct continuous training to our health educators on reproductive health and advocacy. Our employed youths have gained numerous soft skills as part of our employees’ improvement plan.
